Are there any special networks or introductory courses for people who have recently moved to Klippan?
All the municipal departments do their best to help newcomers by giving support and guidance. 

Is it easy to reach nearby towns by public transport?
Trains run at least once an hour, during most of the day, to and from Helsingborg and Hässleholm/Kristianstad. There are also excellent bus connections to destinations north and south of Klippan. People often commute to Helsingborg, Ängelholm and Lund/Malmö.

How far is it to the nearest international airport?
It takes about 2 hours to drive to Copenhagen Airport via the Öresund Bridge. Driving from Klippan to Lund, 60 km away, takes 1 ¼ hours and to Malmö, 80 km away, takes 1½ hours. Helsingborg is 36 km away and Copenhagen 85 km away via the Helsingborg-Helsingör ferry connection.

Is there a local hospital?
The nearest hospitals are in Ängelholm and Helsingborg.

Are there emergency health centres and pharmacies?
Emergency health centres are open on weekdays. There are pharmacies which are open every day during normal opening hours.

Are job opportunities and coaching available to my accompanying partner?
With regard to job opportunities, the employment exchange offers the same services to everyone. An individual assessment is carried out to see whether or not job coaching can be granted.
